Last Sunday it was 40 degrees and raining, I was waxing the skis and thinking that there might not be many good ski days left. The next morning there was 12" new at Teton Village; both Monday and Tuesday had very nice powder conditions on the upper mountain. I took Wednesday off.
Today the sun came out with a vengeance, with temperatures near 60 degrees in town. I went for a quick fishscale tour towards Jenny Lake in the late afternoon sunshine. 55 degrees and calm at the airport, the snow was very wet as you might expect.
It is a bit difficult to see in the photo, but there were numerous small wet slides on the east- and south-facing terrain on Teewinot.
